These two pieces are favorites. Having a hard time letting them go. These are influenced by the Impressionists. I used acrylic paint and oil pastels. The flowers I cut out from photographs I took in my garden and of course I had to add some inspirational words and shine. Will be stocking up my etsy shop this weekend and will include these pieces.

Time to Fly

Mixed media pieces . Love to create. Most of my pieces come together over time. I usually paint first than add oil pastels. Buttons- one of my favorite things, ribbon or lace, stamps and inspiring words.

Blues and Whites

I love color. When I think of January the two colors I think of are blue and white. Icy blue--the coldest time of the year and white--a fresh start. Have started creating a few pieces with those colors. Will post soon. For now here is a page from my sketchbook
